A MULTITUDE OF DESIGN POSSIBILITIES
The Martin Moore & Lapicida collection developed organically and has a strong focus on offering a multitude of decorative design possibilities for the kitchen. It has been made possible due to highly advanced technology and production techniques which enable porcelain to replicate the look and feel of everything from marble, limestone and antique stone to concrete, metal and even wood.

Lighter and thinner than the materials they replicate, they are also available in a kaleidoscope of colourways and finishes. Also, the inherent durability of porcelain makes them virtually maintenance-free and perfect for high traffic areas. They can be used outdoors, too, enabling the same floor to flow from inside to out.

One of the highlights of the Martin Moore & Lapicida collection are the wood effect porcelains, in particular, our Elements Wood Castano Chevron floor tiles. Capturing the look and feel of ‘time worn’ wood, these chevron planks create drama and direction.
“I first incorporated a wood-effect porcelain floor when I created the New Deco kitchen. I was intrigued by the way the pale grey wash on the planks transformed the ‘wood’ into a more contemporary option, perfectly complementing the clean, geometric lines of the collection. This inspired me to seek out new decorative porcelain flooring options for our kitchens. Lapicida offer an astounding array of porcelain tiles and I was impressed by their passion, craft and skill, so I knew I wanted to collaborate with them.”
