A stunning monochrome Lapicida floor was showcased at the recent London Design Fair 2019.
We were delighted to be asked by Drummonds – manufacturer and retailer of classic luxury bathroom products – to supply the floor tiles for their stand at London Design Fair.
Located in the creative heart of East London, the London Design Fair was a four-day event that brought together 550 exhibitors from 40 countries, including; independent designers, established brands, international country pavilions, features and exhibitions.
Held in the newly created Bathroom Gallery in the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, the London Design Fair is part of the wider London Design Festival. The industrial architecture of the old brewery building really set the scene. Drummonds’ exhibition space – featuring classic bathroomware against a teal blue backdrop looked stunning.
We chose a traditional black and white chequerboard design for the floor in our best-selling Antique Marble porcelain.
ANTIQUE MARBLE PORCELAIN COLLECTION
Our new Antique Marble Porcelain Collection combines the authentic look and feel of natural marble with the durability and easy installation of porcelain tiles. The chequerboard for the Drummonds stand consisted of alternating:
Antique Marble Arabescato – marble effect white porcelain with intense grey veining. £49/M² +VAT.
Antique Marble Nero Marquina – black marble effect porcelain with distinctive white veins. £49/M² +VAT.
The collection offers six different marble effects in two formats: 1192 x 595mm and 595 x 595mm. There are also two marble-effect mosaics: 3-dimensional Quadri Caldo Mosaic in 260 x 260mm and Basketweave Bianco Nero Mosaic in 315 x 315mm.
