The interior pictures in this case study may lead you to believe that this is a period property that has been extensively renovated. Incredibly, this is actually a new build private home, created from scratch to the exact specification of the client.
The client’s vision was to create the country house feel and core aspects of this are a traditional sensibility with a well-travelled influences. The result is nothing short of astounding.

MAKING AN ENTRANCE
When you first enter the property, you cannot help but notice the floors. The client wanted to make an immediate impression in the entrance hall with an expanse of natural stone flooring that had a traditional, yet eye-catching, pattern. Together we selected our Genuine Antique English Reclaimed Octagon which has real charisma. Cut to shape by our craftsmen, they marry the finest English reclaimed sandstone flags with Reclaimed Belgian Blue cabochons. The mason’s edge adds true provenance and style to this original surface. Reclaimed flags were also selected for the wine cellar to add a rustic permanence and authenticity.
BATHED IN BEAUTY
The bathrooms are things of beauty. No expense has been spared. The master bathroom exudes opulence everywhere you look. The stone mullion windows set the tone for natural stone and pour light onto the numerous Lapicida marble surfaces and pieces fabricated by our expert craftsmen. The bespoke roll top bath is matched perfectly to the stunning marble floor. Dominating one wall is the exquisitely carved marble double washstand and on the other wall is a custom cut marble shower enclosure.

Green features prominently in one bathroom where a bespoke Lapicida Roll Top Green Marble Bath keys perfectly with its green and black marble chequerboard floor. In the boot room, the racing green cabinetry is complimented by the Genuine Antique English Reclaimed Octagon sandstone floor.
