Combining tradition with innovation, Lapicida can manufacture bespoke designs to meet your precise requirements – almost the only constraint is your imagination!

As an example, entirely in-house, Lapicida can scan any object, from an existing priceless statue to a classic car, and render it in 3D using sophisticated software.

Then, using one of the world’s largest 5-Axis CNC Shaping Mills, the object is then shaped from a single block of stone up to 25-tonnes in weight, before being hand-finished by Lapicida master stonemasons. This custom-made service, available to all, allows our clients to realise their own designs in stone or marble. Completed projects have included bespoke stone fireplaces, statues, baths and even Italian sports cars.

Over recent years, Lapicida has increasingly commissioned by clients to provide bespoke art installations at prestige locations ranging from the Royal Horticultural Society’s RHS Harlow Carr Garden to Chatsworth House where Sir Christopher Le Brun’s magnificent Maro sculpture was installed.

Waterjet Cut Designs

Our team can create incredibly beautiful geometric stone floors including mosaics – intricately cut fine art floors and table tops, to your bespoke design. Our clients can work hand in hand with our in-house team from the earliest stage of the project. This ensures the types of stones or marbles are suitable for waterjet cutting and that designs can be fully developed. The technology makes virtually anything possible.
