Italian Thassos Hexagon Mosaic Medium is made from a stunning pure white marble of the finest grade renowned for its quality, hardness and consistency.
Used for thousands of years to create decorative walls and floors, mosaic is a classic technique. Now, Lapicida turns a modern eye to the concept, introducing new geometric mosaics in natural marbles and limestones. Colours range from pure whites through soft greys to rich blacks, tobacco browns and mossy greens.
The mosaics are supplied ready-mounted on 300 x 300mm (10mm deep) mesh backing sheets, each made up from many smaller pieces of stone called tesserae, which have been hand-assembled.
